People who find Alpha Intelligence often see two names: Alpha AI and Alpha SI. They are related, but they are not the same thing. Alpha AI is a product being built now. Alpha SI is a long-term goal. This guide compares them side by side so you know exactly what each one is, and what is real today.
Both come from Alpha Intelligence, the company founded by Benjamin G. Ocal. Neither has been released. Alpha AI is pre-launch with a waitlist, and Alpha SI is an ambition, not a system that exists.

What Alpha AI is designed to do
Alpha AI is designed to replace the habit of juggling several AI tools. At launch, you are meant to ask in plain words and get help with chat and research with sources, writing, images, code and multi-step tasks, all in one workspace. The planned Alpha model family describes the models it is designed to use. Where Alpha’s own models are not ready, Alpha AI will route tasks to specialized models, some built on open-source foundations.
All of that is planned, not live. There is no app to open today, and the only thing alphaai.site asks you for is an email address, and only if you choose to join the waitlist.
Why Alpha SI matters to Alpha AI
Benjamin never wanted Alpha to be a single app. On the founder page he describes Alpha Intelligence as an ecosystem of intelligent technology that keeps expanding and improving, with Alpha AI at its center. Alpha SI is the name for where that ecosystem is headed.
In practice, the long-term goal shapes short-term choices. Build something useful now. Learn from how people use it. Improve it. Then build the next thing. Alpha AI is the first step on that path. It is not proof that the destination has been reached.
