In wider technology writing, “superintelligence” usually means a hypothetical AI that would be far more capable than people across almost every kind of thinking. It is an idea people debate and research. It is not something anyone can download today. When we say Alpha SI, we mean the ambition of working toward much more capable intelligent technology over many years. We do not mean a system that already exists.

Three names come up together, so here is how they fit:
- Alpha Intelligence is the company. Benjamin G. Ocal is its founder and CEO, and its tagline is “Building the future of intelligence.”

Why have a long-term goal at all?
Benjamin never wanted Alpha to be just one app. As the founder page puts it, the idea is an ecosystem of technology that keeps expanding, improving and developing new capabilities over time. A long-term goal helps decide what to build next. Each product should be useful on its own, and each one should also teach the team something that moves them a step closer to more capable intelligent technology.
That is also why the approach is experimental. Ideas are built, tested, rebuilt and improved. The first version of anything is not expected to be perfect. Alpha SI names the destination. The everyday work is building, learning and improving.
What Alpha SI is not
Because the words “super intelligence” can sound dramatic, we want to be clear:
- It is not a released product. There is no Alpha SI app, model, download or account.
- It is not a claim that super intelligence exists. No one has shown a super intelligent system, and we are not claiming to have one.

- It is not the Italian company ALPHA SI. An engineering and software firm in Italy uses the name ALPHA SI. It is a separate business with no connection to Alpha Intelligence or alphaai.site.
Where things stand today
Alpha AI is pre-launch. The app is still being built and is not open to the public. The planned Alpha model family describes the models Alpha AI is designed to use at launch. Where Alpha’s own models are not ready, Alpha AI will route tasks to specialized models, some built on open-source foundations. None of these models are available yet.
